CALL FOR ART
Mind Warp:
A Halloween Sci-Fi Art Experience
Call for Artists — Ages 13 & Up
Step into the Mind Warp. My Good Brain is opening its San Diego Creative Office at Liberty Station with a Halloween sci-fi art show like no other.
We’re calling on artists ages 13 and up to share work that explores the strange, the spooky, and the futuristic. Whether you’re a high school student experimenting with digital art or an established artist pushing creative boundaries, this is your chance to have your work seen by San Diego collectors, patrons, and the community.
What We’re Looking For
Sci-Fi & Halloween vibes — eerie, otherworldly, futuristic
Explorations of the mind — dreams, fears, resilience, mental wellness themes
Pop Culture Reimaginings — new takes on popular sci-fi and Halloween icons (e.g., aliens, robots, time travelers, classic horror figures, or futuristic twists on familiar characters)
Mediums welcome (2D only):
Paintings
Drawings / Illustrations
Photography
Mixed-media (on 2D surfaces such as canvas, paper, or board)

Why Submit?
Your art on display at ARTS DISTRICT Liberty Station — one of San Diego’s most iconic creative hubs, where thousands of people gather for First Friday Art Walks.
Be seen by your community — your work will be viewed by Point Loma neighbors, fellow students, local families, and art lovers exploring Liberty Station.
Stand out in San Diego’s arts scene — this is your chance to add “exhibited at Liberty Station” to your artist résumé or college application.
Meet other young creatives — connect with teens, college students, and emerging artists who are also pushing boundaries in sci-fi and Halloween-inspired art.
Be part of something bigger — this show highlights how art can spark conversations about mental wellness, while letting your creativity shine in one of San Diego’s most vibrant spaces.
