Seven hands-on art workshops designed for teens ages 13–18, grounded in the science of creative expression and emotional wellness.
Every session is designed to leave you with something you made with your own hands — and a few new tools for your inner life.

All workshops run Fridays 1–3pm, June 12 – July 31, at My Good Brain, Liberty Station. Space is limited to 8–10 teens per session — register early.
Every My Good Brain workshop is designed by Dr. Danessa Mayo — licensed clinical psychologist and visual artist — to connect the act of making with the science of emotional wellbeing.
Teens don't need to talk about their feelings to benefit. Making something with your hands is enough to shift your nervous system, build confidence, and give shape to what lives inside you.
All workshops include every material you need. Become an MGB member and save on every session.
My Good Brain is an arts nonprofit founded by Dr. Danessa Mayo — licensed clinical psychologist and visual artist — to promote youth mental wellness through art and play. We operate in San Diego's Liberty Station Arts District and the SF Bay Area, serving both paying community members and Title 1 schools through free programming.

Seven workshops. One summer. All the materials you need — and a studio that's rooting for you. Spots are limited to 8–10 teens per session.
