Meet the MGB Resident Artist

This Fall 2023, we are excited to share the My Good Brain Fall 2023-Spring 2024 Resident Artist position. We wanted to collaborate with local San Francisco Bay Area artists to promote children’s mental wellness through the vehicle of art.

Our MGB Resident artists are tasked with the important role of helping us create/design social-emotional learning art booth activities during the year. And we have been gifted with the honor of collaborating with our first Resident Artist, Theresa Chung aka Paper Picture Mama. Her fun-filled, creative and interactive paper-based crafts will be transforming the way we engage with youth about social-emotional learning!

Theresa’s designs and arts & crafts ideas will be featured in our art booth events throughout the year, so make sure to stop by at one of our events to check it out!

About the Artist

Theresa Chung is a full-time mom, part-time engineer, and aspiring paper artist. She is also the woman behind Paper Picture Mama, a Bay Area based small creative business where she shares her love of paper art through handmade cards, stationery, and thoughtful gifts. She is inspired by all things fun, colorful, and uplifting.

Goals for working with MGB

"To promote children’s self care and wellness through the art of paper collage, and nurture kindness and connection through the gift of art.”
